In social studies, students had a review.
After the review, they make s’mores just like the ones they eat while camping.
이번 주는 캠핑에 관한 수업을 진행했는데요~
오늘 Social Studies Class에서는
캠핑할 때 먹는 s'mores를 만들어봤습니다!
One of the daily class routines is spelling quiz.
Students listen to each sound to write the correct spelling.
본격적인 수업에 들어가기 전 단어 시험을 빼놓을 수 없겠죠?
모두 선생님이 불러주시는 단어를 듣고 시험지에 받아 적습니다!

All the students are so excited to make s’mores.
They listen to the teacher as she explains the ingredients of s’mores.
이제 s'mores를 만들어볼까요?
먼저 s'mores가 무엇인지, 어떻게 만드는지
선생님의 설명을 듣고 요리 준비를 시작합니다!
This is a simple way to make s’mores indoors.
First place a piece of chocolate and marshmallow on top of a cracker.
Then put it in the microwave for about 20 seconds.
첫 번째 단계!
각자 접시 위에 크래커를 놓고
그 위에 초콜릿과 마시멜로 조각을 올려놓으면 50% 완성!
Voila! Look how big those marshmallows turn into!
Students are amazed at how big the marshmallow can expand in the microwave.
이제 만든 조각을 전자레인지에 넣고 돌려볼까요?
짜잔!!!!
20초 만에 부풀어 오를 마시멜로!!
Students just love how gooey the s’mores are.
They have to wait a few seconds to take a bite because they’re super hot.
쭉 늘어나는 마시멜로를 하나씩 나눠 받는 친구들!!!
뜨거우니 조심조심!!!
The last step is to put another piece of cracker on top to make it look like a sandwich.
이제 마지막 단계!!!
마시멜로 위에 크래커를 하나 더 올려놓으면 완성!!!
Yummm!!! This is really good.
The students can’t stop eating these sweet gooey treat.
달콤한 마시멜로와 초콜릿의 조합!!!
달콤한 맛과 쭉 늘어나는 재미까지 더해지니
아이들 얼굴에서 웃음이 끊이지 않습니다!

Students also play a game to review the vocabulary words from this week.
They all make a circle and wait for their turn.
이번에는 몸을 움직여볼까요?
게임을 통해 지금까지 배운 단어들을 복습해 보는 시간을 가졌습니다.
먼저 둥글게 앉아서 선생님이 제시한 단어를 말하면 빙글빙글 돌아볼까요?
